Park Picture Palace, Sankey Street, Warrington, England

The Cinema News and Property Gazette, February 12, 1913:

Picture (Medium)

“Above we reproduce an illustration of the Park Picture Palace, Warrington, of which Mr. Bibby is the manager, as it appeared whilst Selig’s great film ‘Monte Cristo’ was showing.

“When we reviewed this picture we prophesied that wherever it was shown money would be turned away. That we did not speak without our book is proved when we state that whilst it was shown at the Park Picture Palace, notwithstanding the fact that it could be seen at three other halls in the same town, Mr. Bibby did bigger business that he had ever previously accomplished.”
